The Evidence That Launched Ghost Adventures

The Ghost Adventures got their claim to fame for a 2004 documentary about the infamous Old Washoe Club and Goldfield Hotel Nevada. Before they were known as the Ghost Adventures crew, they were actually ghosthunting for years before that.

Both locations were known for their outlaw pasts filled with criminals and prostitutes. The grim histories behind these buildings make it obvious to a believer that paranormal activity would exist.

In Ghost Adventures (2004), the crew investigate the buildings and get away with some incredible evidence. This evidence helped launched the TV show and set them up for life.

In the video, you can hear lead investigator Zak Bagans describe the evidence. They also sent the tape off to experts who concluded that it was never tampered with and the footage was completely unedited.

This piece of evidence is basically their claim to fame. They were interviewed on national news about their findings, which eventually lead them to be picked up by the Travel Channel for their own TV show.

Since then, they've gathered tons of video and audio evidence of the paranormal. It's difficult to say whether or not it's all real, but the crew will never say otherwise.

Either way, they've gained a huge fanbase and tons of deals due to the TV show. Zak Bagans even owns a "haunted museum" with different haunted artifacts inside. Whether ghosts are real or not barely matters anymore for their fans. They just love the crew for their antics!
