Jack Reacher was the main character in Lee Child’s bestselling novel series about a gigantic military veteran vigilante who travels across America. Reacher was supposed to stand 6’5″, weight 250 pounds, and proudly boast a 50-inch chest. Cruise, who hardly hits the 5’7″ mark, wasn’t exactly the visual audiences were looking for.
