The Heroes in The 15:17 to Paris
Clint Eastwood attempted to tell the moving true story of three Americans who stopped a murderer with an AK-47 on a train heading from Paris to Amsterdam. However, instead of hiring professional actors, Eastwood hired the actual men who were aboard the train that day. While being a real-life hero is commendable, critics panned the movie for its amateur acting, calling the actors “appalling” and “a failed experiment in stunt casting.”
