RIP Blockbuster
It’s hard to imagine life without Netflix and Hulu, but nothing was like going to the local Blockbuster Video to rent that new movie that was just released and bringing the VHS tape back home to watch. Instead of scrolling through rows of movies on Netflix, you walked the aisles of the store and bumped into friends and neighbors. If you didn’t know what to choose, hopefully, you had a cool store manager that could suggest some titles for you. Blockbuster may be gone but it definitely holds a special place in our hearts.
