Sanitize Your Cutting Board With Lemon and Salt

Lemon and salt both have natural cleansing powers. Wood is permeable, and it's risky to only clean a wooden cutting board with water. If you use the lemon and salt method, it will kill all bacteria and the salt will exfoliate your cutting board.

To have an ice cold can in just a few minutes, put your drink in a large pot and cover it with ice. Fill the pot with water, add a couple cups of salt, and stir until the salt is dissolved. Your canned beverage will magically be cold.
To clean your shower head or bathroom faucets, fill a plastic bag with white vinegar and secure it to the shower head with a rubber band.
Store small extension cords neatly with this simple office supply hack: Attach a paperclip to a small rubber band. Then wrap the rubber band around the bundled cord and clasp the paperclip onto the rubber band again.
The next time you host a barbecue or a patio party, pull out a muffin tin. Rather than using it to bake muffins, fill the cups with various condiments and barbecue toppings.
