  • Next time you oversalt a soup, toss in a few wedges of raw apple or potato. Simmer for 10 minutes and discard the wedges to get the flavor back to normal.
  • Insert a drinking straw (or stainless steel reusable) into the tip of the berry and push it through to the other end to quickly remove the stem.
  • If you find your fitted sheets slipping off the corners of your bed, look no further than your closet for an easy fix. Just use a pair of elastic suspenders, clipping one end to each corner under the mattress, and your sheet will stay put.
  • Pour pure aloe vera juice (available at most drugstores) into an ice tray, and then freeze it for an always ready-to-apply salve for sunburns.
