Use a Razor To Remove Paint From Clothes

If you had some mishaps while painting the walls, a razor is an easy and efficient way to scrape the paint off your clothes. Yep, even a cheap disposable razor will work. You'll magically pull away the little paint particles with no damage to your clothing.

  • As trash bags start to fill up, the bag slithers into the bin and you have to dig it out. To keep handled or drawstring trash bags in place, all you need are two medium or large self-adhesive command hooks.
  • Keep all those personal grooming tools in one place. A magnetic strip in the medicine cabinet can be used to store tweezers, clippers and small scissors.
  • To make it easy to stow and reuse plastic bags, make a dispenser from a discarded 2-liter soda bottle. Cut off the top and bottom with a razor knife. Then screw the dispenser to a cabinet door or closet wall (or attach with hook-and-loop tape).
  • All you need is tap water that's piping hot to kill weeds in the cracks of your sidewalks and driveway. Pro tip: add a tablespoon of salt to make it even more effective.
