Real Estate Agent Poses 12-Foot-Skeletons on Her Properties to Celebrate Halloween

For Washington, D.C. real estate agent Donna Kerr, there are quite a few skeletons in her closet. Literally.

Kerr, who has quite the funny bone, is celebrating the Halloween season by decorating her company's properties for sale with skeletons to drum up exposure for the listings.

Kerr, who has been a real estate agent for 23 years, wanted to do something special this year in order to lift spirits amid the ongoing coronavirus pandemic. Inspired by the spooky holiday, Kerr went out of her way to make sure all of her agency's homes were Halloween-approved.

"I think it's like a bit of a breath of fresh air, a bright spot in constant heavy news of the day with COVID," Kerr told her local news station. "I just wanted to bring a smile to everyone that saw [the listings], the more smiles the better."

Kerr's skeleton army consists mainly of the massive, $300 12-foot skeletons that went viral on social media before selling out at Home Depot last month. She also added some smaller skeletons from her own personal collection.

"They take about two hours to pose ... it's really a fun way to get more exposure for clients and for the community to come out and see the skeletons as well," Kerr said.
