Some of the Best Indoor Plants for Beginners

Plants might look easy to maintain, but everyone has accidentally overwatered at least one succulent. Thankfully, some plants are easier than others to care for. Among these is the Snake Plant, which is a slow grower but beautiful once formed. They don't need a lot of light, and they're pet-friendly. For the person who can't seem to get the hang of plants, this one is a no-brainer.

Another easy plant option is a Spider Plant. The spider plant is easy due to its obvious nature. Once the leaves start browning, add some water to the pot. If you water too much, the leaves will become limp and floppy. Once you figure out the perfect amount and schedule, it's simple to keep alive. They need a little bit of light, a little bit of dark, and an attentive caretaker. Otherwise, this plant is pretty hands-off!

The Moon Orchid might seem daunting, as orchids are famously difficult to care for, but don't worry. This variation is a lot less challenging. Plus, it adds a pop of fun color into your space! They're great in moist areas, so a kitchen or bathroom is recommended. All they need is a single spray of water once a week. Keep them out of direct sunlight and they'll be in your life forever!

Plants are a great way to liven up your space, so keep them alive!
