True baller status! This iconic makeup mogul started her company, Pat McGrath Labs, two years ago and has just surpassed being worth $1 Billion! She is known to the makeup world as the most influential makeup artist of all time.
She was raised by her single mother in Northampton, England. She started from the bottom as a makeup artist, slowly making her way up the rankings as she got more work and more publicity.
McGrath’s big break came when she began to work with Edward Enninful, the fashion editor of i-D magazine. That was the platform she had to really show her fabulous use of color and textures in makeup.
She has worked with minimalism and surrealism, as well as natural to over-the-top looks. She can pretty much do anything!

As a trendsetter, many people in the makeup industry knew her and her work. Photographers, designers, fashion editors, etc knew her name and probably have worked with her!
In 2016, she created her very own company. She used her expertise in the industry to create makeup lines that she knew people needed and would sell. It was a complete hit!
