Two By True?
Although common knowledge tells us that Noah took animals to his Ark in pairs, there are actually a few contradicting statements in the Bible about this. In one passage, it says that Noah was instructed by God to take “seven pairs of every kind of clean animal” and “one pair of every kind of unclean animal,” as well as “seven pairs of every kind of bird.” As a result, it may have actually been 14 of each animal.
