So when did the real unicorns leave this planet? It’s not quite certain. But with the discovery of the Elasmotherium, we are one step closer to figuring it out. One theory is that they died from a meteor impact, based on the fossilized Siberian Elasmotherium skull. Another theory is that they were the victims of severe environmental change.
