A Community United Through Three Special Boys
Michael and Lauren’s friends and co-workers came together to cook meals for the family. The parents had their hands full with the three new additions to the family, plus they also had their older kids to think about. Then the couple’s friends did another very special thing for them! They organized them a fundraiser so that they could afford to give the parents gifts for the new babies. “I had to tell my aunt, who created a website with people signing up to make meals, ‘Thank you very much. But we can’t eat anymore!’” Michael revealed. “Our family is a big binder to us,” Michael said. “We are very close to our family and friends – our colleagues and neighbors are almost like an extended family. There’s a reason why all of this happened the way it did.”
