Family matters, sometimes even to people who aren't in it! A group of siblings who are all in the medical field has gone viral on LinkedIn, being viewed and praised by over 100,000 people. In the photo is Dr. Chinyere Okpaleke, a family medical professional living in Houston. Dr. Okpaleke posted the photo of herself with her four sisters and one brother for National Siblings Day. The internet loved it!
From left to right, the siblings in the image are Okway Okpaleke, M.D., Chinelo Okpaleke, P.A., Nkiru Osefo, M.D., Ifeoma Okpaleke, N.P., Queenate Okpaleke, N.P. and Chinyere Okpaleke. One sibling, Lillian Okpaleke, M.D., is not featured in the picture, though she also practices medicine. Even their parents are in the medical field! Their father Andrew Okpaleke, M.D. is a retired physician of internal medicine after 30 years. Their mother, Celina Okpaleke, P.A. continues her practices over 20 years!
"I have a friend who says my mother's womb 'must be very blessed to produced so many doctors' -- that one is probably the funniest one," Dr. Chi said. According to her, she and her siblings all have an innate desire to help people however they can. Over 170,000 LinkedIn users liked the post and 5,900 commented.
This family is certainly one that is saving the world.
