Opposing High School Basketball Coaches Get Engaged in Pennsylvania

In Royersford, PA, a man popped the question in an unexpected place.

At the end of a high school basketball game between Spring-Ford High School and Boyertown Area Senior High, assistant coaches on opposing teams got engaged.

Spring-Ford assistant coach, Dan Brittingham, had been dating Boyertown assistant coach, Kelly Ann Furman, and on Tuesday night, the two teams faced off in Montgomery County, PA. Spring-Ford's team took home the win with a final score of 59-42.

During the handshake, however, something special went down.

Brittingham dropped down to his knee and asked Furman to marry him. Both teams were thrilled and cheered when Furman said, "yes!"
