At last, the lions had him, and they kept the buffalo on the floor, who lay still, tired and unable to move with the huge weight of the big cats’ bodies pushing down on him. There was no escape. The male lion attempted to cleverly turn the buffalo over so that he would be completely unable to stand again. Then he was ready to make the kill, and the two lions would feast on the buffalo’s carcass. There was no need to rush the kill, but the two lions didn’t want to let their dinner go anytime soon…
