The Mormon Church Secret Vault
Not far from Salt Lake City, you can find Granite Mountain – which, ironically, is mostly composed of quartz monzonite. There’s a vault built 600 feet into the Little Cottonwood Canyon which is owned by the Mormon Church. The vault is used for various things like document storage but also houses administrative offices, has shipping and receiving docks, and a laboratory for restoring microfilm.
