Off-Limits: The Eeriest Places in the World

Snake Island

This island off the coast of Brazil might be small in size, but it houses many rare and native snakes. Because they are so endangered, the island is off limits to the general public. It is located 18 nautical miles off the coast of Sao Paulo, Brazil, and is approximately 110 acres. Studies show there could be as many as one snake per every square meter. Competition for resources is always at a premium.
