This facility in North Yorkshire, England contains intelligence and communications data for the UK and United States. Sorry, you can’t enter. Menwith Hill Station opened on 545 acres of land in 1954 and leased to the United States. The U.S. Army Security Agency established a high-frequency radio monitoring capability which could receive communications from the Soviet Union.
