Voynich Manuscript
This book is dated about 600 years old and is filled with 250 pages of illustrations and an unknown alphabet. It was found by an antique bookseller in 1912 and was unreadable by everybody. The illustrations consisted of female nudes, medicinal herbs, and zodiac signs. Experts are not knocking the notion that it may just be a hoax filled with random words, but others believe it could be a kind that can be cracked somehow. Stephen Bax is a professor of applied linguistics at the University of Bedfordshire in England and has deciphered 14 of the characters in the manuscript in 2014. He believes it’s some sort of Eastern Asian language.
