Body Found
Finally, the Tibbetts received the worst news possible. On Tuesday, August 21, authorities located the body of a young woman at a rural area near Guernsey, a 15-minute drive south of Brooklyn. A medical examiner arrived to verify the body belonged to Molly Tibbetts.
