#3. An Unforgettable Journey
Of course, since it had the makings of an unforgettable journey, the couple wanted to take all three of their children – Brian, 14, Terry Jo, 11 and Renee, 7 – with them. So, they chartered a 60-foot boat namedÂ ‘Bluebell’ to ferry them from Fort Lauderdale, Florida to the islands of the Bahamas.
#4. Off They Go
The ship set sail with the Duperrault family on board on November 8, 1961. Its captain, Julian Harvey, had brought along his wife, Mary Dene, and for the first four days, the trip wentÂ smoothly.
