The novelist turned director has a certain eye for the best of the worst, but he's known as a novelist primarily for a reason. His first film, Maximum Overdrive, received terrible reviews. King was under the influence during most of the filming, and it showed. He made an appearance in the film as a southern man using an ATM, but his acting was just one of the terrible parts of this blockbuster.
