Wizard of Oz (1939)
One scene in this classic movie has been shrouded in mystery and controversy. Apparently, in the last scene there appears to be a body hanging in the background as the movie ends. Rumor has it that it was actually one of the munchkins that hung himself. But the studio has since made a statement that it was only a big bird that was loose on the stage.
