If You Forgot A Pencil…
You might not have known that the metal piece at the end of a measuring tape has more than one purpose. Not only can it hook around corners in order to help measure surface area, but if you look closely, you can see that the edge of the clip is serrated. This is for scratching in a reference mark lest you forget to bring a pencil.
