This 1985 biopic is based on the memoir of Baroness Karen von Blixen (who is also known as Isak Dinesen). Meryl Streep plays the Danish aristocrat who purchases a coffee plantation in Africa, where she meets a big-game hunter (played by Robert Redford) with whom she falls in love. This movie won Best Picture in 1985.
