Man Makes Kind Gesture For Nurses Who Saved His Wife's Life

A man in New Jersey quickly became a social media star after being photographed holding up a cardboard sign expressing his gratitude to local hospital workers.

Outside of Morristown Medical Center, an unidentified man held a sign against the center's glass windows that read "Thank you all in emergency for saving my wife's life; I love you all."

A woman shared the image of the man and his sign on Facebook after her sister-in-law, who is a nurse at the medical center, sent it to her.

"She sent me this picture the other day and I feel like it needs to be seen as much as possible!" she wrote. "I don’t know how to make a photo go viral but I think this one is worth sharing—so please, share away!"

Sure enough, the photo of the man has been shared over 61,000 times across Facebook. This post also shed light on a GoFundMe campaign raising money for NJ hospitals in need of protective medical gear. They've since raised $12,000 in just a few days.
