Panic immediately floored authorities into motion. The quicker they worked, the easier it would be to get answers. They immediately went out to search the area of the last pinged location. They worked long and hard for two weeks but did not find anything. No wreckage, no plane parts, and no bodies. On March 24th, Prime Minister Najib Razak of Malaysia finally gave a press conference. He said that the Air Accidents Investigation Branch and Inmarsat, a satellite company, had briefed him about the planes last location. It was over the Southern Indian Ocean, which was far off course from where it should have been.
