They Didn’t Have Binoculars
Out of the plethora of theories surrounding the Titanic, a big one is that no one in the crow’s nest had binoculars. In the dark night on the sea, being without binoculars seemed to be a bad idea. Many think that if someone had binoculars, they would have been able to spot the iceberg as they were on the course.
