Another Ship Ignored Titanic
The ship sent out a distress signal that the SS Californian chose to respond. The ship came under criticism when the news came out. The captain claimed he didn’t know if the rockets were distress signals or not. Many believe that it could have been prevented if The Californian just took the rockets as distress signals. The people in charge of the Californian all had different stories, and even changed their stories sometimes. It was a mess. They were the closest ship to the Titanic and could have easily saved many people.
