Most of the Crew Lost Their Lives
Since they were part of the ship, they were the ones that had to try and take control of the situation and save the most passengers that they could. Unfortunately, that means they perished as they were supposed to be the last ones off the ship. Out of the 421 stewards on the Titanic, only 60 of them survived.
