Lost Stories of the Titanic

The RMS Titanic is one of the most tragic events in the worlds recent history. The early 1900’s was a time for new and iconic inventions that jump-started the technological revolutions of the 20th century. The age of the Titanic was an exciting time for European and American citizens. It was a luxury liner that was supposed to take a trip from Southampton to New York City.

On April 15th, 1912, the Titanic hit an iceberg and sank into the North Atlantic Ocean. An estimated 1,500 passengers died on the voyage. These are the lost stories.

The Titanic’s Legacy

Although this ocean liner was the largest ship that could accommodate the richest passengers. Many people were heading to America to start new lives, while others were just using it as a vacation. The Titanic carried 2,224 passengers on the day it sank, killing around 1,500 of them. Due to lack of lifeboats and ice cold waters, the iceberg that sank the ship took many lives. The world was outraged and saddened by the disaster.
