Lizzie McGuire Reboot is Announced for Disney+

Disney Channel lovers, this one’s for you. Fifteen years after Lizzie McGuire ended, the show is set to get a reboot on Disney’s new streaming service Disney+.

Hilary Duff shared the exciting announcement on Instagram along with a video compilation of moments from the old show. Lizzie McGuire was a sassy 13-year-old when audiences first met her, but now, Hilary Duff will be playing a 30-something Lizzie.

The reboot is set to be released on November 12th. This announcement from Disney+ coincided with the service’s announcements that a remake of Lady and the Tramp, an original Star Wars series, and several Marvel series, will also air on Disney+.
