Cleanliness Isn’t Always Guaranteed
Crypto or Cryptosporidium is a parasite that’s responsible for causing what’s known as cryptosporidiosis, which is a type of diarrhea. And, supposedly, pools, especially upscale ones, are free of such parasite due to the presence of chlorine. But, that’s not exactly the case, since crypto has been known to survive even in chlorine-treated water for as long as 10 days.
