The 7-year-old Layla grew up a very shy kid, with little to no confidence in herself. But, since playing ‘dress-up’ with her mother two years ago, she has since “come out of her shell” and blossomed into a fairly confident young girl.
True to that, the little girl has cosplayed as various Disney princesses, such as Ariel from The Little Mermaid and Merida from Brave:
Layla first started cosplaying two years ago when her mother, Camilia Courts, who is also a photographer, took her to Disneyland’s Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique and got her a new dress. After doing a few shots and seeing the results, the duo decided to take things ‘seriously’.
So seriously, in fact, that even Camilia herself taken part and worn a costume.
Here she is as Maleficent, with Layla as Snow White.
The mom-daughter duo now has a sizeable following of more than 19,000 Instagram followers.
