Free McDonald's Breakfast for Educators This Week

This week, until the 15th, McDonald's is showing educators some love. Teachers, administrators, or school staff can head to their local participating McDonald's location to receive a free breakfast.

"Together with our Owner/Operators, we’re proud to serve the people who make our communities a better place, and this is an important time to say thank you to some of our everyday heroes," said Joe Erlinger, President, McDonald’s USA. "We were honored to give away 12 million free Thank You Meals to first responders and healthcare workers last year and now, with educators going above and beyond, we’re excited to recognize them in a way only McDonald’s can."

Educators can get one free breakfast each day during the week. The "Thank You Meal" comes with an entrée breakfast sandwich, hash browns, and an iced or hot coffee or soft drink.

This program was launched last year for healthcare employees. The company decided to honor another group of essential employees this year as a small thank you for the tough times they've endured.
