Already known for being one of the most charitable athletes in the world, the soccer superstar Cristiano Ronaldo has proven once again how big his heart really is.
The Independent reports that the 32-year-old football – soccer, depending on where you live – superstar gave a helping hand to an animal shelter who’d been struggling recently.
The shelter in Portugal reportedly reached out to one of Ronaldo’s close family friends, asking for some help to cover a vet bill that would amount to a total of $2,136.00.
Upon hearing this, Ronaldo didn’t think twice about sending an autographed jersey to the shelter, which will then be auctioned off to provide money to help pay for the shelter’s bills.
As simple as this may be, this act of kindness will help the shelter provide adequate care for as many as 80 dogs.
