Use a carabiner to carry in all your groceries at once, because two trips are for weaklings. If you're the type of person who lives by the one-trip lifestyle, then you absolutely need a carabiner. Maybe two, if you can carry bags in both hands. The best part of the carabiner hack is to get a giant one. That means way more bags. Just make sure they're all secure and not ripping!

The More You Know

  • Drain away any excess fat while baking by placing meatballs on a baking rack. The extra fat drips away, you’ll retain that browned, caramelized exterior you know and love.
  • If you know you'll need to bake with brown sugar soon and it's too hard to use, stick a piece of bread in with the sugar overnight and leave the two in a sealed plastic bag.
  • Instead of hanging unsightly fly paper, take a cup, fill it with an inch of red wine vinegar, seal the top with plastic wrap, and poke a few small holes in it with a pen. The flies will be attracted to the scent of the vinegar, but won't be able to get out.
