The Big Apple
Party boat pioneer, Martin, had his ship returned to him in 1945 when WWII came to an end. After four years apart, he found he had little use for it and sold it to Circle Line, a sightseeing company in New York. Here it embarked on its longest occupation as it ferried tourists between the thrilling sights the Big Apple offered. The boat enjoyed a long-lasting career of 40 years in the tourism industry before retiring in the early 1980s.
