What the police found rather surprising was that Jennings seemed to know a bit too much about the crime. For example, Ray knew things that only the killer would probably know. Although after questioning him again, Ray went on to explain that he was only trying to be of help and that much of his speculations came from his own investigation of the nights’ harrowing and tragic events.
