Robert and Bindi Irwin are following right along in their animal-loving father’s footsteps. In the third episode of
“My Pet Tale” a Today Show online original, where celebs show off the adorable pets in their lives, the Irwin siblings describe their family dog, Stella, as part of the family.
“When we’re not cuddling koalas in Australia, we are cuddling Stella, our little pug,” Bindi Irwin says.Â
Stella hangs out with them at the Australia Zoo and acts as an honorary security dog.
“She never has a bad day. Every day is just awesome for her. She always brightens up your whole life because she’s just excited to meet everyone. She’s excited to meet the animal. And she just loves life,” Robert said.
Stella brings joy to their lives, something the Irwin children really understand and hope for others.
“I think everybody should have that little someone special in their lives to keep every day happy and wonderful,” Bindi said.
