Officer John Bowman was fatally stabbed inside of his home at 4:15 in the morning. Fellow police officers had no idea of who could do this and no motive. At the murder scene, the culprit left a wig, a hard hat, and a pair of sunglasses. Since it was 1984, DNA tests were inconclusive… The case remained opened but cold for 34 years.
