She was born into abject poverty, she experienced nearly a lifetime of difficulties, and over time, she was given the opportunity to become one of the most influential women in human history (according to Time magazine). The Oprah Winfrey Show was one of the first of its kind, and Oprah herself is famous for being able to break social and societal norms. She was even able to create her own cable network.
