FaceApp is an iPhone application that allows users to time travel. Well, kind of. By uploading a photo to the app, users can see what they’ll look like in old age. Wrinkles, gray hair, and sagging skin combine to give you an eerie and hilarious final image. Even celebrities are getting in on the action!
OLD TERRY CAN STILL KICK SOME ASS! ð¤£ð I did that face app thing y’all been TELLIN ME TO DO! #AmericasGotTerry #AGT pic.twitter.com/gFUC1a1l0b
— terry crews (@terrycrews) July 16, 2019Terry Crews, the Jonas Brothers, Andy Richter, The Colorado Rockies baseball team, and even Sophia the Robot have all aged themselves using the app. The app also lets you see your younger self, but this feature hasn’t generated as much social media buzz.

— Jonas Brothers (@jonasbrothers) July 16, 2019Although Twitter is flooded with photos like these, not everyone is so sure about the privacy of the application. Some think that the app is collecting facial data and consider it a breach of their privacy. Can’t be too careful!
I'm glad y'all are having fun with that face-aging app but I will never be able to shake the feeling that alllllll those pics are being put straight into some kind of database, the sinister purpose of which won't be revealed until it's too late.
— Scott Wampler⢠(@ScottWamplerBMD) July 16, 2019The app also creates gender swap, smiling, style change, and other features. In the end, whether it’s a fun way to see into your future or a creepy data collection trick, it’s definitely good to be young!
