"We're definitely celebrating Christmas! It will just have to be small and safe. Maybe do rapid testing before," Khloé Kardashian said. After her sister Kim Kardashian celebrated her 40th birthday on a private island with friends and family, fans weren't exactly thrilled. It seemed like the family was flouting the quarantine rules despite the lengthy precautions they said they'd taken beforehand. Just goes to show that life is still relatively normal for celebrities while millions of people are struggling and unemployed during this pandemic.
Aside from the extravagant birthday celebration, Kim and the rest of the crew have repeatedly seemed to break stay at home orders. They've hosted and attended large gatherings and spent time with people outside of their immediate households, which is a major catalyst for spreading COVID-19. Now, Khloé says the family will likely still throw their enormous Christmas celebration this year, during what will probably be a peak in the second wave of the virus.
Kendall Jenner even hosted a 25th birthday party recently that included over 100 guests. Events like this have been unheard of over the course of the last few months. She tried to keep it a secret with a "no social media rule," which of course was broken. Now, at least the family is trying to be more upfront with their rule-breaking. Is the Kardashian Christmas present this year a case of COVID-19? Probably.
