Boston Voted Second Sexiest Accent in America

The sexiest and least sexy accents in the United States have officially been ranked—and everyone is up in arms about it.

Travel company Big 7 compiled data from a survey run across various social media platforms to over 1.5 million followers. The results, however, were far from expected.

“One of America’s most imitated and parodied accents, Boston almost comes out on top of the country’s sexiest accents. And yes, just like Mahhhhk Wahlberg, locals really do say ‘pahk yuh cahr in hahvuhd yahd,'” said Big 7 on social media.

The Texan accent was voted number one, with New York coming in third, Maine fourth, and Chicago fifth. Other areas that made the top ten were Mississippi, Hawaiian, Philadelphian, St. Louis, and Californian.
