— Silvia Laplana (@slaplana_tve) June 24, 2019Because the heat is so dramatic, people have been beating the heat in some rather unique ways. No one in the region is used to such weather, and many don’t even have air conditioning in their homes. One German man couldn’t even take wearing clothes!

While their methods of beating the heat might be hilarious and efficient, hopefully everyone is taking proper precautions to survive the excessive heat this week. At least this is a good reason to eat all the ice cream you can in the next few days!
