As much as they hate to deal with irate customers, complaining is actually the best way to go and score a discount on your room rate. Older people almost always get away with this, but even the younger ones can use this “hack” to their advantage! Simply complain about your rate and chances are, you’ll be given a 10% discount outright. Remember, hotels will rather give their rooms at a discounted price than leaving it empty.
Just try not to be too rude, though, so they don’t call security on you, and if possible, complain only when there aren’t too many guests around you.
