Inspired by the reality show Big Brother, Cooper plays Travis Patterson, one of the masterminds manipulating a group of adults spending six months locked inside of a mansion. Bradley's feature film debut had been one year prior in Wet Hot American Summer (2001), but the actor didn't achieve critical levels of success until 2009 in The Hangover.
