Acknowledging the Past

In July of 2017, the Monticello Plantation hosted a celebration to mark its 55th annual Independence Day as a functioning museum. They counted 70 people from 30 countries who attended the event. This was a great way to remember America’s tough history and acknowledge it. It’s better to remember than to forget, even if it’s difficult.
